Getting started takes four steps
- 1Create your driver account with your own email address.
- 2Fill in your name, phone and confirm your W-9, then agree to the contractor terms.
- 3We review your application and email you the moment you are approved.
- 4Complete your profile and vehicle details, link your bank, and your routes unlock.
How pay works
Independent contractor routes pay a flat contract payout per block plus a $7.50 daily fuel allowance. Weeks run Monday to Sunday and approved pay is sent the following Wednesday, straight to the bank account you link in the portal.

- Effective hourly rate: A 3.5–4 hour block averages $25.00–$27.00+ per hour after fuel.
- Fuel coverage: The $7.50 stipend covers roughly 1.5–2 gallons — enough for a typical local Los Angeles Amazon Hub route.
- 1099 mileage deduction: As an independent contractor, you can write off the IRS standard business mileage rate ($0.76/mile), lowering your taxable income and keeping more of your earnings compared to W-2 wages.
